Had a fantastic time learning to surf with Eduardo and Miguel. Even as a beginner, I felt confident because their instructions were simple to understand and follow. Such a friendly, skilled and kind-hearted approach to teaching my children on possibly Europe's most magical beach. My sons - 11 and 9 - surfed every day with great tutors who made it safe and fun, and they couldn't wait to go back. It's straight-forward to book and a very relaxed but professional approach. Friendliness, availability, professionalism!

During our holiday we asked Imagine Surf to organize an afternoon of school for our 10 boys, aged 8 to 22. Eduardo and the other teachers were immediately very helpful, they divided the group according to age and each teacher took one or more kids with him, differentiating the difficulty and the teaching method.
I appreciated the competence, availability and also the wisdom of the teachers who, at the beginning of the afternoon when the wind was strong, had excluded the little ones from the course (because it was dangerous), only to then involve them again in individual teacher/student lessons, when the wind had dropped.
For those who stayed on the shore to watch the kids, they made beach umbrellas and chairs available.
Fantastic experience, absolutely recommended!!!

We booked 2 lessons with the Imagine Surf team and they were amazing. Friendly and helpful for all levels. My son, husband and I surfed together even tho the boys are much better but we all had a great time and learnt a lot. The following day my son & husband saw dolphins as they surfed. This is an affordable, quality experience for all surf levels. We surf in the UK and enjoyed this lesson.

Great experiance! We had two great days of surfing with Bruno and his team. They are friendly, great teachers, calm and always look out for safety and best waves depending on your skill level. My brother and I had three days of pure fun and happiness whilst improving our surfing with this school. As beginners to surfing, we visited four surf schools during our recent trip around southern Portugal, and this was by far the best one.

Staff is just very friendly and accommodating. It genuinely felt like they were also having a good time watching our progress. And what a beautiful beach!

We even came back for a final lesson on our way back to Lisbon. A big thanks to the whole team.

Edu and Bruno are top notch surf instructors who will help you improve quickly. I took my first 3 lessons with them and rode 20 waves on my 3rd lesson. They're both fun, engaging, responsive, professional, on time, and very supportive. We had Pego Beach to ourselves when I went and the waves were perfectly sized for a beginner. Great experience!

Super nice guys, short exercise on the beach and then guys guided us in the water so well, that even on the first lesson we were able to catch a wave , stand-up and surf. Great experience.

Very nice beach with lots of space to start surfing. As we were a small group, the instructors were aible to see what we did good or wrong. This way i could learn something and even surf a few times 🙂

Amazing people! Everybody is super nice and helpful. Eduardo even gave us tips on where to go next for surfing and food! The surf lesson was a lot of fun. We were around 8 people and had two instructors! We even saw some dolphins! 100% can recommend! And thanks again for everything!

Very cool surf school , Eduardo (owner) and the rest of the group are great, very communicative and kind, they teach all you need to know and as soon as you learn the basics on sand, they take you and help you to catch waves! An amazing experience! I'll be back for sure

Best surf school on the west coast! Eduardo, aka Presidente, is a wonderful host. Two words: go there! And for the full surf-experience, besides learning how to surf, definitely make time to meet Eduardo and the rest of the crew. When you get there, say hi for me 🙂

We were able to get a surf lesson at very short notice and had great conditions on the beach. It was a lot of fun and Eduardo is a great surf instructor. Always happy to come back and highly recommended!

Had an absolute blast with my girlfriend trying out surfing for the first time. Eduardo is a great person and amazing teacher with whom we had a lot of laughs. During our first class he gave us all the right tips and enabled us to catch our first wave! My husband and I tried surfing for the first time with Imagine Surf School. Eduardo and his team were amazing, very friendly, helpful and fun to learn with. I would love to keep it a secret but must share our amazing experience. We learned to stand up on a surf board after 3 days and look forward to returning and surfing again!

Great classes with super fun teachers! Really helpful and skilful at making the surfing experience awesome! Great spot for off peak surf (from Mid September onwards) where this gorgeous huge beach (52km long of sand) is empty and you get all the waves for yourself!

This surf school really is special and unique. I joined some classes in the end of August and was really grateful for those beautiful and funny morning hours in the water. The owner is absolutely kind and professional, but also his colleagues are really nice. I can just recommend to try out. I will hopefully come back next year! 🙂
