Surf trips in Comporta and the surrounding area
At Imagine Surf School you are not only getting to know the best surfing techniques, you also get to know the best beaches for surfing, with Surf Trips along our coast.
Whenever atmospheric and sea conditions are favorable to surfing, our coaches will be able to make previously agreed Surf Trips to students of all levels. We have pick-up points in various locations, so there is no danger of getting lost on your way to the best spots.
Surf Trips are great for improving surfing techniques, but also for exchanging experiences between students from different backgrounds and, of course, contact with nature.
We have Surf Trips for Praia do Pego, Praia da Comporta, Praia Atlantica and Praia da Aberta Nova.

Pego Beach
Excellent beach break, with lefts and rights. Consistent year-round, but mainly during the Summer when we have quality waves every day.
Considered the “Summer Spot” in the region. There may not be waves at other spots, but it´s always possible to surf at Pego beach.
Comporta Beach
Beach break with lefts and rights; the right choice for when the waves are too big at Pego beach.
Atlantic Beach
Sheltered by the Arrábida sierra, on the Tróia Peninsula, this beach break provides perfect waves for surfing on big-wave days. It is a little-known spot, but when it works, it has great potential.
Aberta Nova Beach
Beach located to the South of the Comporta region. It hosts larger waves and is an excellent option when the waves are smaller at other locations or when we want to challenge ourselves and try waves that are a bit bigger."
